Pride is not a threat. Hate is.

No LGBTQ+phobia is an awareness campaign created to reinforce a simple and urgent message: LGBTQ+ people are not a threat. Pride is not a threat. Visibility is not a threat. The real threat is hate, prejudice, violence and the attempt to silence people for being who they are.

The No LGBTQ+phobia awareness campaign was created by Fernando do Vale, the Brazilian artist, music producer and AI-powered creative director behind Cultura Queer. Through this project, Fernando brings together visual storytelling, music, representation and a direct message against hate: Pride is not a threat. Hate is.

The campaign was created as a visual and emotional statement against LGBTQ+phobia, using representation, diversity and direct language to remind the public that respect should never be treated as a debate. Every person deserves dignity, safety and the freedom to exist without fear.

Through the official campaign video, the message becomes clear: Pride is not an attack on anyone. Pride is a response to years of exclusion, silence and discrimination. It is a celebration of life, identity, courage and survival.

What Is the No LGBTQ+phobia Campaign?

No LGBTQ+phobia is a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of hate and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people. It speaks directly to a reality that still affects millions of people around the world: the fear of being judged, attacked, erased or rejected simply for existing openly.

The campaign does not ask for special treatment. It asks for something basic: respect. It calls attention to the importance of protecting LGBTQ+ lives, supporting queer visibility and challenging the idea that prejudice can be disguised as an opinion. Hate has consequences, and silence often protects the wrong side.

Why This Message Matters

LGBTQ+phobia can appear in many forms. Sometimes it is loud, aggressive and public. Other times, it hides behind jokes, comments, exclusion, online attacks or attempts to erase LGBTQ+ stories. No matter the form, the result is the same: people are made to feel unsafe, unwanted or invisible.

That is why messages like this matter. A campaign can become a mirror, forcing society to look at what it still accepts, ignores or normalizes. Saying “No LGBTQ+phobia” is not only a slogan. It is a position. It is a refusal to accept hate as normal.

“Pride has never been a threat. Hate is.”

Pride Is Visibility, Not a Threat

Pride exists because LGBTQ+ people were pushed into silence for too long. It exists because many people had to fight for the right to love, to be seen, to build families, to work, to walk in public and to live without hiding.

Calling Pride a threat ignores its history and its purpose. Pride is not about attacking anyone’s values. It is about making sure that LGBTQ+ people can live with the same dignity and freedom as everyone else. Visibility is not provocation. Visibility is survival.

Representation Is Part of the Message

This campaign was built around the idea that the LGBTQ+ community is not one single face, one single story or one single experience. It includes gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, nonbinary and many other identities. It includes young people, elders, couples, artists, people with disabilities, people from different backgrounds and people whose stories are often left out.

Showing this diversity matters because hate often grows where people are dehumanized. Representation helps restore humanity. It reminds the viewer that behind every label there is a person, a life, a family, a dream and a story.

Share the Campaign

If this message speaks to you, share the campaign. A single video, image or sentence can reach someone who needs to feel supported. It can also challenge someone who still needs to understand that LGBTQ+phobia is not acceptable.

No LGBTQ+phobia is more than a campaign title. It is a reminder that respect should be louder than hate.
